The Love of a Mother

The love of a mum is something so complicated but yet pure and simple at the same time. It's funny how they can irrritate you till you are the verge of pulling out your hair and yet when you need a comforting hand and arms to cry into she's there with her arms wide open.

A mother's love is something only a mother can understand I guess. It's funny how their words seem to contradict each other but still make sense... at times. Sometimes they don't.

What does a mum do? Nag, worry, nag, worry, nag, worry, nag, worry... and the cycle goes on...

But if you look deeper into the nagging and worrying, you'll probably and most likely find love. It is a love so pure and real that seems to radiate from within her heart.

At times, this love can't be seen, felt, tasted, heard and smelt but it's still there. Yes, even in their nagging and scoldings. At these times, you got to remove the things on the surface, like dust on a window, so as to allow that love to radiate through and be experienced.

Being a mother is not just giving birth... being a mother is being so much more - a friend, a confidant, a nurse, a teacher, a knight who fights bedroom monsters and more!

Most importantly, mums are like guradian angels sent from above to guide us and lead us on the right path, to shelter us from harm and to give us the foundation for us to build ourselves.

Give your mum a hug today! She deserves it.
